Introduction Electric vehicles (EVs) are vehicles that are powered by one or more electric motors, these vehicles use electrical energy stored in either rechargeable batteries or other energy storage devices. Electric vehicles (EVs) do not produce tailpipe emissions. Tailpipe emissions are the product of fuel combustion and comprise a number of pollutants like carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxides which are hazardous to the environment.
